Did Maria Bondareva and Anastasia Dmitrieva compete at this Championships?
ReplyDeleteDimitrieva came 5th after a few problems on bars and beam (53.1 - follow the link to the results to see apparatus results).
DeleteBondareva competed in the team competition earlier this week, but not in the all around :-( She hasn't really recovered her form of previous years.
Youth Olympics are later this year and based on age group restrictions, we think Seda Tutkhalyan is most likely to represent Russia - Melnikova is too young.
Evgenia Zhukova who is on the senior reserve team said that Bondareva felt ill :( I hope she will compete on Sunday. But it does seem that Tutkhalyan will be a more likely YOG participant.
