Judge Dmitry Andreev, gymnast Ranel Safiullin and doctor Grigory Marsov received neutral status. Today, FIG updated the list of athletes and staff who received neutral status. Information about athletes from rhythmic gymnastics also appeared.

Sport is the low hanging fruit of world politics. The IOC ban on Russian athletes has kept Russian soft influence to a minimum over past years.
