Rodionenko: if our boys were not mistaken, could be in the top three.
Head coach of the Russian national gymnastics Valentine Rodionenko analyzed the causes of the failure of Russian gymnasts in the team competition at the World Championships in Nanning.

"The first five teams in the final team tournament were equal. But when Ladder comes in three protruding athletes can not be wrong. And our - wrong. First Nikita Ignatyev mistake on the uneven bars, and very well. Then the horse wrong Nikolai Kuksenkov. And yet ... What we said to the finals: who makes a mistake - one of the three will not fall. None of the teams that are ahead of us, not wrong. After all, our children are very worthy program. I can not understand what's going on with the guys. It seems that Nikita Ignatyev not a beginner, an experienced athlete. We will analyze and talking. In my opinion, after qualifying was incorrect installation - just to be in the eight. After all, in the final of the first five teams are located so as came out of the training. And the judges formed a certain impression from which it is difficult to escape. We still subjective judging. Of course, if our boys were not mistaken, could be in the top three.

The team was ready to fight for the third place. At the Olympics - 2012 we were sixth, at the World Cup before the Games - the same six. Now become the fifth. Advanced only at one place. It is very unfortunate. The guys are ready, they correspond to the potential of the program of struggle for the prize. And it is impossible. There is a lack of confidence. It is difficult to understand why our guys are uncertain. Forgotten how to win, or what? Here there is no assurance that we should be in the money! None of this. And how is it to invest, I do not know "- quoted Rodionenko agency" All Sport ".
